This print has phosphorescent paint in one of the many layers of silkscreen.

The print shines brightly under black light and continues to glow for a considerable time after lights out. The "numbers" showing in the background are printed in glossy black ink and they are only shown here due to the multiple flash system I used take the picture.

ReverendMilo Review:

I do not know the technical challenges in doing a print with this many layers, but my oh my, Tim must be partially crazy. I cannot imagine how hard it was to do this many layers with this precision (including some inks that probably are invisible when applied). Beyond the technical difficulty of the screen printing process, Tim has also managed to squeeze countless themes and imagery in what have must been a deliberate process of nailing down what "the numbers" represent, affect, and involve.

This is a print I am going to have to study..I venture to guess that there are few episodes from a season of "Lost" that I could watch, and not go and immediately look at this print and find meaning. After looking at a previous work by Tim Doyle for "Crazy 4 Cult 3-d" and reading G1988's blog about it, I understand why this artist was given such a complex theme to depict. The only reason that I can see that this print has not sold out yet is that it was the first print. Fewer people knew about Damon, Carlton, and a Polar Bear at the time and now further down the road, people are re-evaluating their pocket books with the number of prints. But IMHO this print does need to be on 300 walls...
